I read that Eagle is Emeraude's brother in the OVA. I said this in the MKR ML before but I was wondering where I can get really good copies of OVAs VHS fansubbed. Hikaru and Lantis, Ferio and Fuu, Umi and Clef. What is the opening theme of the OVA? I heard All You Need Is Love, but aren't that the ending theme?. Did Lantis ever show some feelings to Hikaru?. Why does Hikaru say 'Sainoz' or 'Cynos' when she first call Lexus and go inside him, is it an special kind of magic?. Is it OAV or OVA? This has been bugging me for a while now. What did Clef say to the girls when they found him. What's Eagle and Lantis doing here so early in the story? I could have sworn I saw Zagato putting a sword to Emeruade's throat in Episode 1. Why did the Cefiro people come to Earth and not the other way round?. Did anyone realize that Clef has grown a bit? Is that really Clef?. I know its an alternate reality but how come Ferio is working against the Knights?. Since when is Emeruade Eagle's sister? Does anyone know what happens to Ferio & Ascot at the end of part 2?. Well, since everyone has stressed that the OVA & the original series are different, then how do the girls become the Magic Knights in this one, since from what I've read, they are still on Earth and not Cephiro. Selece represents water, kindness, and the present. Rayearth represents fire, passion, and the future. Her daughter, Nova, wreaks havoc in Hikaru's life. She appears in Hikaru's dreams, and she is the evil entity of Cephiro after Princess Emeraude dies. Lady Debonair is the main villain of TV2. Alcyone doesn't realize that it is Lantis, not Zagato. 
Primera is a fairy/pixie that follows Lantis around. Since I have not since all of the first season, I don't know what his role was. He was originally some weird creature that was transformed into a human. Princess Emeraude is the entity that keeps Cephiro in one piece.

Windom, or Windam, is Fuu's Mashin in the TV series and OVAs. In TV2, he grows up to try to impress Umi, whom he likes (a lot), but she doesn't understand.Ĭeres, Celes, or Selece is Umi's Mashin in the TV series.
She loves Sol Zagato, but she doesn't figure out that he's gone, and thinks Lantis is Zagato.Īscot is the brat in TV1 that tries to kill the Magic Knights until Umi slaps him and tell him otherwise. He loves Princess Emeraude.Īlycione is not only a villain in the TV series, but she also appears in the OVAs.
Zagato (brand), a shop that does custom parts & work on cars. In TV2, her twin sister appears, who is ALSO in love with Clef, but Alcyone figure out that it's not Presea but her sister Sierra. Presea is the artisan of Cephiro - which means she makes weapons, both for fighting and fun. In TV2, they find out that he's a prince. The Bravada is the floating fortress from Chizeta.įerio is the mysterious swordmans the knights meet in Cephiro (TV1). Rasheen is Tatra's Djinn (they look like genies) Tarta is the other princess from Chizeta. Tatra is one of the princesses from Chizeta. Honda NSX (renamed the Acura NSX in the US). Geo Metro is second in command of the NSX. Nova is the mysterious girl that appears in Hikaru's dreams.Ĭefiro, or Cephiro, is the location of the whole series. And now, onto the cars! Don't ask me to explain this to you if you've seen only a few episodes, you should be able to figure it out, with little or no research. And if you've paid attention to other series, Sailor Moon's relation is with planets & precious stones, Sakura Wars's relation is with flowers, Fushigi Yuugi's relation is constellations, and Gundam Wing's relation is with numbers. All the characters are named after cars or something similiar. If you don't already know, Magic Knight Rayearth has a big connection with cars. This will contain spoilers if you haven't seen the entire TV series and the OVAs.
